Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday flagged off three ambulances at Gandhi Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy said the ambulances were arranged following instructions from the All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi, and former president Rahul Gandhi.
He said those living in a 50 km radius of Hyderabad can use the ambulances free of cost by calling PCC control room in Gandhi Bhavan.
PCC former president P Laxmaiah charged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had failed to control Covid pandemic.
The ambulances have been provided by Sangareddy MLA T Jagga Reddy and would be stationed at Gandhi Bhavan. People in need of the ambulance service can call 040-24601254.

Hyderabad: Food delivery and e-commerce services will continue in Telangana from today. DGP Mahendra Reddy clarified that those performing essential services will not be stopped. In this regard, orders have been issued to Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Racha Konda Commissioners Police. Isolated thunderstorm in Telangana for next 48 hourse
HYDERABAD: Telangana state may witness isolated thunderstorms during the next 48 hours, officials of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) have said.
During the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall in the state of 18.1 mm was recorded in Ranga Reddy district. Hyderabad witnessed maximum rain of 14.5 mm at Asifnagar.
Many parts of the city were greeted by booming sounds of thunderstorms on Tuesday morning. Several parts recorded rain but it was intense on the outskirts. Disaster management teams of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation swung into action to deal with the situation.
