Hyderabad City Police constable suspended for drunk driving
A constable attached to the Bahadurpura Police Station, who was recently caught during a drunk and driving check at Rajendranagar, was placed under suspension by City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar.
The constable, Venkatesh, was driving a motorcycle when the traffic police stopped him. On noticing him in an inebriated condition, the traffic personnel used a breath analyser to check and booked a case against him.
With a report on the incident being submitted to the Commissioner, he was placed under suspension.
