Rape of a minor Dalit girl in UP

The police said that the girl was studying in 8th class. She came out of the house in the early hours of the morning. The accused dragged her to his shop and raped her.

Covid-19 Safety norms violated at VIP wedding in Hyderabad?probe afot

HYDERABAD: Cyberabad police are investigating if Covid-19 norms were violated during the wedding ceremony of Rajya Sabha Member Capt V Laxmikantha Rao’s granddaughter, held at Novotel convention center, Madhapur, on Friday. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao also attended the event to bless the newly married couple.

The bride is also the daughter of Husnabad MLA Vodithala Satish Kumar and Shamitha. Police officials confirmed that due to the Chief Minister’s visit, there was full arrangement at the venue.

5 Hyderabad Hospitals Face Govt action overcharging Covid-19 patients

The Director of Public Health, Telangana, has banned five hospitals in Hyderabad from admitting new COVID-19 patients for violating treatment protocols. The hospitals have been indicted for overcharging patients with inappropriate and surplus billing. A total of 88 complaints have been filed against 64 hospitals in the state.

To ensure no inconvenience is faced by already admitted patients, DPH has allowed prohibited hospitals to continue with their treatment as per charges fixed by the government. The authority has made it clear that the government will be compelled to cancel the license issued to the hospitals if any complaint is received from patients who are getting treated.
The orders were issued by DPH G. Srinivasa Rao on Friday. Hospitals barred from admitting new patients include Virinchi Hospital Banjara Hills, Max Health Hospital KPHB, Neelima Hospital Sanathnagar, TX Hospital Kachiguda and VINN Hospital Begumpet.

The DPH in its order also mentioned that the explanation given by the hospitals against lodged complaints was not satisfactory. A notice has been issued to all the 64 hospitals against which complaints have been made. A total of 6 complaints were received against Omni Hospital Kukatpally, 5 against Vinn Hospital Begumpet, 3 each against TX Hospital Kachiguda and Udai Mini Hospital Abids, 2 against 11 hospitals and one each against 49 hospitals in the state.

Citizenship to non-Muslim refugees before CAA application: Interior Ministry issues notification

New Delhi: The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has yet to be implemented following the uproar, but the Home Ministry has issued a gazette notification to grant citizenship to non-Muslim refugees. Is. The notification seeks applications for citizenship from Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists and other non-Muslims residing in 13 districts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab.

Apart from this, people living in Durg and Baluda Bazaar of Chhattisgarh, Jalore, Udaipur, Pali, Badmir and Serohi in Rajasthan are also eligible. Refugees living in Faridabad, Haryana and Jalandhar, Punjab are also eligible to apply.

According to the report, the Gazette notification states that refugees have to submit an online application for registration as citizens of India. These applications will be scrutinized by the District Collector or Home Secretary of Haryana and Punjab only if required.
